TsKhecheoplari Tsho is a large lake located 27 kms from Pelling and is a common
tourist sightseeing point.
The lake is considered to be one of the sacred lakes of Sikkim.
The lake remains hidden in the rich forest cover.
It is believed that birds do not permit even a single leaf to float on the
Khecheoplari lake surface.
There is a motorable road from Pelling right up to the lake area.

Rimbi Water fall
On the way to Khechopalri and Yuksam, near Darap Village Rimbi
Waterfall is found.

Kanchendzonga water falls
Half an hour from the beautiful hill station of Pelling in Sikkim,
Kanchenjunga falls is a perennial waterfall that is one of the
major tourist attractions in the region..
It is believed that the pristine waterfall originates high up in the
glaciers of Mount Kanchenjunga

Darap Village
One of the few unexplored villages in Sikkim, Darap has retained the pristine
nature of its flora and fauna over the years.
It is situated at an altitude of 1600 m and the temperature here ranges from -5
to 28 degrees.
There are a lot of tourist-related activities that can be done in Darap village like
trekking, traditional house visits, handicraft making, bird-watching and visiting
the caves at Kanchenjunga National Park etc

Pemyangtse Monastery
The literal meaning of “Pemayangtse” is the perfect sublime lotus and is
considered as an altar for the entire Buddhism clan.
The monetary was founded in the 17th century by Lhatsun Chempo one of
the three lamas of Yuksom
At present 108 monks who belong to Bhutia family of Sikkim stay inside the
monastery.
These monks are given the title of ‘ta-tshang’ or pure monks. The monastery is
300 years old, and is divided into three parts.

Rapdentse Ruins
Rabdentse was the second capital of the former kingdom of Sikkim from 1670 to
1814.
The capital city was destroyed by the invading Gurkha army and only the ruins of
the palace and the chortens are seen here now.
The ruins of this city are seen close to Pelling and in West Sikkim district in the
Northeastern Indian state of present-day Sikkim
The Rabdentse ruins are part of Buddhist religious pilgrimage circuit starting
with the first monastery at Yuksom known as the Dubdi Monastery, followed
by Norbugang Chorten, Tashiding Monastery

Lachung Monastery
Lachung (Sarchok) Gompa's small but colourful monastery prayer hall is a two-
storey affair with twin metal dragons above the porch, which contains a pair of
extra-heavy prayer wheels.
Walking here is a great way to get a better sense of Lachung village; you'll pass
several great viewpoints from which to appreciate the town's magnificent
setting.
The Lachung Monastery also known as Lachen Gompa is an old Buddhist
monastery of Sikkim situated in the Lachen Valley of North Sikkim
This monastery houses some religious beliefs of the Buddhist community along
with the statue of Guru Padmasambhava or Guru Rinpochi.
